About the Role:
Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) supports various functions within Sanofi, including Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D. The role of a Scientific Writer within this team involves:
Main Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop specialized content with limited supervision, covering publication/medical education materials such as slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with peers and stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, to develop education and communication content tailored to specific needs.
- Expertise Development: Maintain and develop therapeutic area expertise to ensure high-quality content.
- Process Support: Manage the end-to-end publication process, including documentation and approvals in systems like PromoMats/iEnvision.
Key Focus Areas:
- People: Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and assist other writers by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Performance: Deliver high-quality content within agreed timelines and provide strategic support for publication purposes.
- Process: Develop complex materials, support medical communication, and collaborate with vendors to deliver on objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with scientific communication teams, Product Managers, MSLs, and the medical department to identify needs and customize deliverables.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline, or a medical degree.
- Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team. Technical expertise related to therapeutic areas, publication submission, and project management is required.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
