Key Responsibilities of Trainee Research Associate
- Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates for drug discovery.
- Delivering small to large quantities of novel chemical entities (NCEs) to support various chemistry projects.
- Working closely with a collaborative team to advance chemistry projects.
- Applying your knowledge of basic organic chemistry and reaction mechanisms to experimental processes.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Name Reactions and functional group transformation techniques.
- Handling calculations related to molarity, normality, and equivalency.
- Utilizing practical experience in thin-layer chromatography (TLC), column purification, and extraction techniques.
Qualifications Required
- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Alternatively, M.Pharm degree with a specialization in Organic Synthesis.
- Candidates with 0-1 years of project experience in chemistry or related fields are encouraged to apply.
